Denise Avery graduated from Winston-Salem State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She began her career in the financial services industry 40 years ago at Merrill Lynch and joined Cygnus in 2010. Denise’s primary responsibilities are in the areas of compliance oversight and operations. Her lengthy experience in the financial services arena and attention to detail add to the depth of our Team.
She enjoys spending her leisure time with her family and friends. Denise worships at The Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church where she is active in various ministries and auxiliaries.
She is a proud Silver Star member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Zeta Mu Omega Chapter.
