Nathan Peterson graduated from Coker College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Nathan began his career in the securities industry at Bank of America 18 years ago and has been with Cygnus since its inception in 2009. He is a licensed financial professional, and he holds insurance licenses in life, health and annuities. His focus at Cygnus is in providing client service and retirement planning, while also serving as a member of our Investment Committee. He is also our resident expert on insurance and annuities.

Originally from Utah, Nathan has a great love for the outdoors which helped him to achieve the level of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts. In college Nathan served as the captain of the golf team for two years, and his senior year he received the honor of Coker College Student Athlete of the Year.

Nathan enjoys competing as an age group cyclist in road, mountain and gravel races, activities in which he is able to raise funds for charities. He also enjoys hiking with his wife, Sabrina, and three children at their local greenway. He can often be found on the baseball field or golf course with his kids.
